Sales Forces

There are two types of sales forces in the world.

The more common sales force is one tightly controlled by management. Often there is a backend data which has to be managed by the sales team and which is used by management to evaluate the success of the sales team. This is a traditional sales force, one where management obsesses over closing the "deal." This is the right approach for some businesses.

Then there are teams of sales people focused on empowering customers to make purchases. These sales people focus more on removing barriers to sales and letting the customer become a self directed buyer.
